A Glimpse of the Galactic Isle

Yvonne Carter grew up a chubby girl with a secret crush on class nerd Derek Lawson. Pressured by her parents, she was sent abroad and forced into a marriage she did not choose. Years later she returns and takes a job as Derek's assistant to quietly reclaim the life she wanted. One accidental inhalation of an aphrodisiac leads to a single reckless night with him. When Derek wakes, the glamorous "Cinderella" has vanished. Only the timid, plainly dressed Yvonne stands before him delivering documents. Mistaken and commanding, he orders her to find that mysterious woman. He later realizes that the "wife" he sought is Yvonne, but she has already left in bitter disappointment. Racing to the airport, he confesses his love; they embrace and kiss.
