Synopsis

At five, Narelle Lorne is tormented by the family nanny. To protect her younger brother she falls from a cliff, loses her memory and disappears. A trash collector adopts her; fifteen years later she works as Sherry Jerom at the Lorne Hotel, where a shocking reunion with her biological mother and brother only brings torment, bullying and humiliation. When her memory returns, Sherry rejects them as family. Her brother's anger escalates to a near-fatal attack. Once her true identity is revealed, mother and brother are overwhelmed with guilt and remorse. Their raw confessions uncover a complicated, enduring love that had been concealed for fifteen years. Faced with betrayal and love, Sherry must decide whether to forgive; ultimately they reconcile and strive for a tender, hopeful life together.

I came for revenge, stayed for awkward family dinners. 😂 Also, the brother's nearly lethal moment shocked me.
