In the Name of Love

Anna Poole endured hardship from childhood. While trying to resolve a company crisis with her close friend Serene Cox, Anna is drugged and sold to Mr. King. She injures Mr. King and flees, stumbling into Zach Howl's room where both, under an aphrodisiac, become intimate. After regaining consciousness she seeks Serene and accidentally overhears a conspiracy between Serene and the supposedly deceased Bryan Lane. When Anna confronts Serene, Serene wounds her and sparks a fire. In the blaze Anna is rescued by Waver Taylor, recently returned to the country. Ten months later Anna gives birth to twins; one infant is taken by the Browns, who with a complicit doctor falsely claim the child died of suffocation. Betrayal, violence and loss leave Anna's life shattered.
