Synopsis

Overnight the world freezes. Ice swallows cities and the dead begin to walk. In my first life I clung to survival on a prize of 100 tons of coal won at a company raffle—until a jealous coworker murdered me. Now I wake back on the same raffle day with every memory intact. This time I choose a motorhome and turn it into a mobile fortress. I awaken its mysterious vehicle system and roll into the frozen apocalypse, every mile a test of wit and will. Haunted by betrayal and sharpened by the knowledge of past mistakes, I refuse to be bait again. Last time I barely survived. This time I intend to thrive.

One hundred tons of coal mattered greatly. Murder by a jealous coworker caused the rewind. He chose a motorhome this time, strategically. Fortifications and an awakened vehicle system ensured mobility.

Tight premise with high stakes from the start. Time loop mechanics feel grounded. Mobile fortress is clever survival logistics. Pacing balances flashback and present tension well.

I wonder whether the vehicle system is sentient. Maybe fate chose the motorhome on purpose. Questions like that kept me turning pages.
