Younger but More Loving Boyfriend

Younger but More Loving Boyfriend

Synopsis

On Lindsey's wedding day the groom, Ethan, disappears. Humiliated and desperate, Lindsey plucks a handsome stranger, Marcelino, from the venue and forces him into the ceremony, shaming Ethan's family in public. Marcelino, who had been trying to avoid a blind date, had claimed he was tied up handling a branch company's high-ranking executive embezzlement. That lie unravels when he agrees to a temporary marriage of convenience to help Lindsey save face. The arrangement is tense and awkward at first—obligation, scandal, and bruised pride clash—but the pretense exposes unexpected warmth. As they navigate suspicion, family scorn, and their own guarded hearts, Marcelino finds himself falling genuinely in love with the woman he married for the wrong reasons.

Marcelino's excuse about the branch scandal was believable. Small gestures sold his growing affection convincingly. Costume choices highlighted social humiliation and recovery.

I suspected Marcelino had secrets hidden. The embezzlement excuse is a clever misdirection. Maybe love was always the real agenda.
