Wanda, a new SWAT cadet and daughter of a fallen captain, is cared for by Felix, who is also dating Eve, a clerk and Felix's girlfriend. Wanda calls Felix 'uncle,' but Eve senses something off in their relationship. Felix encourages Wanda before her assessment, while Eve faces pressure from her mother to accept a proposal from another man, Joseph Lutz. At a public event, Felix unexpectedly declares love, but it’s revealed his confession is actually for Wanda, his long-term crush who calls him uncle. Eve realizes Felix's feelings lie elsewhere, leaving her uncertain about their future.
