After leaving the safe house, Oliver leads Mia, Yvonne, and Emily to raid a supermarket for supplies. They clear zombies with ease, especially Emily, who dispatches threats silently. While gathering goods, the group encounters Dustin and his followers, university students claiming ownership of the supplies and safe house. Tensions escalate as Dustin demands everything back, mocking Oliver’s truck and underestimating Emily. Oliver challenges Dustin to let one of his men face Emily in combat to claim the truck. The muscle-bound Tim steps forward but is unexpectedly killed when Emily rips out his heart, shocking everyone and solidifying her lethal power.
