A Sovran woman wakes up confused and realizes she is being cared for by a zombie, whom she refers to as her 'dad.' Despite her pride, she accepts the strange situation. As he carries her outside, they encounter a massive horde of zombies, and she fears they are doomed since he appears to be an ordinary zombie. However, the horde retreats in fear, revealing that the zombie protecting her is actually a powerful Tier-I zombie. The episode ends with another zombie unexpectedly submitting to him, leaving the Sovran woman shocked and questioning what just happened.
