Nathan is suddenly assigned head waiter — a role others warn carries a 100% death rate — when the Goth Model System activates a mission to conquer a B-rank Slit-Mouthed Lady; reward depends on client satisfaction. During service a panicked coworker abandons a post and is killed for breaking the rules. Nathan nearly quits over revolting dishes but continues. A VIP guest soils her clothes, becomes violent and threatens to eat him. Nathan steps forward and pleads, 'Honorable madam, please calm down.' The plea halts the attack for now, leaving his survival and the mission outcome hanging.
