Breeze Over Golden Fields - Episodio 1

After her adoptive grandpa Leo dies, Millet faces villagers eager to reclaim his land. They refuse her inheritance because she is a woman and only adopted, insisting rules can't be changed. Offered just two days to harvest the remaining rice, she must either marry a local man or find a live-in husband to secure her claim. Struggling with this impossible choice, Millet searches desperately for a man in the village. When she encounters a stranger who suddenly disappears, leaving her startled, the episode ends with Millet uncertain whom to trust and how to protect her family land.
