Her stance shocks company insiders who warn the patent underpins ClearMark Tech’s IPO; she says taking it will make the firm collapse. At home Mark orders her to care for Queenie, a recently returned pregnant woman, and mocks her as a housewife. She recalls sacrificing her career for him, and refuses the demeaning role. When Mark threatens divorce, she counters with "Then let's divorce." The episode ends with divorce initiated and patent custody threatening the company’s future.
