At a shady auction, Aria, a bankrupt woman, is humiliatingly presented as the 'top lot' to pay off her fiancé Derek's massive mafia gambling debts. Derek cruelly pressures her to use her body to cover what she cannot afford. Aria defiantly rejects this but faces overwhelming desperation and betrayal. Suddenly, the final auction item appears: a dying, crippled fishman with an opening bid of fifty million. Strange low-frequency sounds unsettle the crowd as the fishman seems to fix its gaze on Aria. The episode ends with the unsettling tension rising around this mysterious lot.
