Christie is arranged to meet Mr. Lewis through colleagues while one colleague offers to help and claims leadership. Meanwhile Ms. Yates is told the agreed plan to sabotage her blind date failed; the organizer apologizes and offers to refund the 100,000 deposit. Ms. Yates panics because the date is her superior and she fears losing her job. At the meeting Sewell unexpectedly appears and is introduced to Christie as the principal dancer, spoiling the setup. An onlooker mutters, "Why does her back look so much like Sophie?" — that sudden likeness leaves the meeting unresolved.
