Crown of Thorns - Episode 1

Crown Princess Mary is publicly arrested for high treason in a chapel on Crown Prince Cain's orders. Another woman taunts Mary, revealing Cain spent their wedding night with her and mocks Mary's scar. Mary begs for her unborn child's life, but Cain's guard orders her execution and the termination of her pregnancy. As guards move in, a loyal servant sacrifices herself to create a distraction, urging Mary to flee to Duke Edleston. Mary escapes, leaving the chapel and her protector behind in chaos.
