Curing, Crafting, and Counting Fortune - Episode 11

Cherice, a barefoot child, is driven out after she says, "Dad married Ms. Scott." She pleads not to be abandoned. A woman takes Cherice and Eason in, promising they'll be cared for and publicly declares she's cut ties with Sean and moved to her brother's. The children sell goods and earn $50, but later the household is reprimanded when steamed breads meant for Grandma are missing and the mother accuses theft. Cherice insists Aunt Blaire bought the breads and that she earned the money. The episode ends with the mother asking, "Is Blaire here?" leaving their safety unresolved.
