An Alpha, Kael, dismisses a woman as merely a maid when asked if she is his Luna. A man urges him to try wooing her, but Kael stubbornly refuses, claiming he does not need a mate. The man then reveals Lyra, an heiress from a rival pack, is already arriving for a visit, suggesting she might be unaffected by a curse.
