Daddy, We’re Done - Episode 9

At a school meeting, a teacher accuses young Lily of stealing class funds. Her mother, Maya, arrives to defend her. Lily explains the money was earned from collecting bottles to buy a birthday gift for her father. Another parent verbally attacks Lily's family for being poor and a bad influence. Maya defends her daughter's character and confronts the accuser, but the other parent insults Lily by throwing the money at her. Maya announces they won't be an eyesore much longer and prepares to leave. As she guides Lily away, the girl says a final, heartbreaking goodbye to her father, who watches helplessly.
