Synopsis

After a car crash caused by his brother Dustin's betrayal, Justin Stockwell is left paralyzed, bitter and violent. Dawn Whiting takes a caregiver job for a high salary to cover her child's medical bills, enduring his daily abuse to survive. Justin is stunned when he recognizes in Dawn the woman from a one-night stand years ago and learns she has a son, Taylor. Driven to confirm paternity, he follows a lead to a club and, to his shock, finds Dustin there—now engaged to Dawn. The revelation ignites a dangerous plan: torn between longing and revenge, Justin plots to claim Dawn and the child, creating a tense triangle of betrayal, duty, and desire.

Performances sell every cruel glance and fragile apology. Writing balances revenge and longing without cheapening either. One of the most compelling dark romances lately.

The accident's origin felt sharply placed and justified. Dawn's caregiver role for salary motives is believable. Club scene timing confirms Justin's suspicion smoothly. Reveal that Dustin is fiance is paced perfectly.

I felt sick when Justin remembered the one-night stand. Every scene where Dawn endures abuse tore me up. That club moment made my chest clamp in knots.
