Dreams Where Gods Tremble - Episode 8

A mortal woman who sacrificed her luck to help Kenn's ascent confronts the gods in Heaven, demanding why her family died and why her luck was taken. The gods insist their killings serve justice and claim mortals are born to be trampled; they argue they spared her soul for rebirth but she instead accused them in Heaven. As she resists, her resentment begins to turn her into a demon. The gods urge Kenn to act — "Kill her." The episode ends with the command enforced: "Since you've become demon, I cannot let you live," leaving Kenn facing a brutal choice.
