A family confrontation erupts in the waiting area when a woman claims she was switched at birth and challenges Elise's place: "How could she be my sister?" A parent insists Elise was raised as their own and warns against bullying. Dr. Anson, shaken, is handed soup by a colleague, and then Rowan appears asking, "interested in a quick wedding?" leaving decisions unresolved.
