Lilith, a worker guarding the imprisoned former demon king Jormund, gets a coworker to cover her shift so she can check on him. Jormund reveals he was the original king betrayed by his adjutant, who forced Lilith to contract with him. As Demon Resonance forces Lilith to witness Jormund's painful memories, he expresses bitterness for being sold to a traitor and tortured. Despite the threat that killing his master will also kill him, Jormund insists they must die together to end the hatred.
