Lily begins the episode erasing ties: she cancels bank cards, asks staff to terminate a ten-year phone number and move her registration. At work coworkers confront her for forgetting her wedding anniversary; Shawn waited all day and is expected to drown his sorrows. Lily tells her friend Molly she wants to leave the country after the divorce and begs that no one, especially Shawn, be told. Molly agrees to arrange a private jet. The key change: Lily commits to disappearing once she gets the divorce certificate, but that certificate is still pending and ridicule at work leaves her escape uncertain.
