Jett returns home after a long absence and is reunited with his family. His sister Nola reveals that during his absence, their mother was attacked by a group called the Joneses, who broke her legs and blinded her. Jett is enraged upon learning this and vows revenge, swearing he will make every member of the Jones family pay for hurting his family. His mother expresses sadness over her injuries, but Jett reassures her that he can heal her.
