Every Forgiveness Came With a Price Full Episode
001
The protagonist, Selma, attends a New Year's gathering at her husband Chester's family home. His childhood sweetheart Shirley offers to cook, prompting Selma to recall her past life where Shirley deliberately poisoned her with scallions. Now reborn, Selma reverses the situation, claiming a ginger allergy—Chester's actual allergy—and requests scallions instead. This calculated move shifts the immediate danger onto Chester, setting the stage for his family's reaction and testing their hypocrisy as Selma begins her revenge.
002
During a family dinner, Selma confronts her in-laws and her husband's sister, Shirley, who has cooked dishes containing ginger despite knowing she is allergic. Her husband fails to defend her, and Shirley pressures her to drink chicken soup she spent hours making. Shirley reveals she ground ginger into the soup on purpose, posing a direct threat to Selma's health.
003
Chester confronts his parents after finding ginger in the soup, which his wife Selma warned them she is allergic to. His parents dismiss Selma's concerns, but Chester suddenly has a severe allergic reaction, revealing he is the one actually allergic. Amidst the panic, his mother blames Selma for adding the ginger, while Selma points out their hypocrisy for downplaying her past allergy episode. Chester is rushed to the hospital and makes his parents promise to pay the medical bills, yet he still defends Selma. As he recovers, Selma hints that her forgiveness will come with another costly surprise.
004
Selma discovers her partner Chester has secretly borrowed $400,000 to bring home for the New Year, depleting their $100,000 savings. While preparing to leave, Selma entrusts a crucial folder of documents to Shirley, who had previously caused Chester's allergy. Unbeknownst to them, Selma reflects on how Shirley once burned a valuable contract from such a folder and was forgiven. Now, with Chester's risky loan hidden inside, Selma watches to see if the family's forgiveness will be tested again.
005
Chester returns home for the New Year to find his family hosting guests. His mother proudly brags about his high-paying job, prompting the guests to show off their own sons' expensive gifts, creating immediate pressure to prove his success. They mock the cheap fruit he brought and question his earnings, escalating the confrontation about filial duty and status. To defend his family's honor and end the humiliation, Chester reveals he gave his parents a substantial sum of cash, drastically raising the stakes and leaving the guests stunned.
006
A man announces to his wife and her two female companions that he plans to give his parents $500,000. The women eagerly discuss the luxury goods they could buy with the sum, but one companion challenges him, calling it 'empty talk.' To prove his sincerity, he leaves to fetch the cash. However, he returns empty-handed, realizing he cannot locate the money and suspecting his wife may have hidden it, demanding she give him the folder where it should be.
007
Selma discovers that Shirley has used a folder from her suitcase to start a fire, destroying its contents. A furious Selma confronts Shirley, who tearfully apologizes, claiming she didn't know the papers were important. Chester, Mrs. Sanders, intervenes and dismisses Selma's anger, calling the burned items worthless and telling her to let it go. Amid the tension, Shirley reveals that the folder contained $500,000. The episode ends with Selma and the others stunned by the catastrophic loss, facing the severe consequences of Shirley's mistake.
