Sharon is scalded and suddenly goes into contractions after a family fight over money. David and Sharon accuse David's mother, who openly favors Dylon, of scalding Sharon to force them to accept no money or sign over the old house. The argument escalates into threats: the mother demands cash or the deed and bars them from leaving.
