At a public demo for the Journey 906, the scheduled pilot fails and apologizes to Calvin. Skylar, who hasn't flown in seven years and is called a housewife, steps up and says, 'I can take the Journey 906 to 32,000 feet.' Delegates mock and belittle her, telling her to leave while past colleagues deride her compared to Linda. Her mother quietly encourages her, and Skylar returns to the cockpit. She starts the engines; onlookers shout "That's impossible!" and the episode closes with the demo suddenly resting on her unproven control.
