Victor (addressed as Mr. Hayes) and bystanders watch kidnappers seize control while some argue they should fight or wait for Ruby. The criminals celebrate taking money and the girls, but the situation suddenly flips as reinforcements turn the ambush into a capture — "the hunter becomes the hunted." A man nearby apologizes and explains a bodyguard and the kidnappers both got inside, pleading about his four sisters' safety. Victor orders everyone out to avoid getting in the way.
