He Can Hear His Wife's Inner Voice - Episode 8

Adrian, the trillion-dollar CEO of Sterling Group, enters a marriage of convenience and weds Elowen, a nobleborn heiress. Right after their wedding, he gains a peculiar ability: he can hear every single inner thought of his new wife. Outwardly, she is a gentle, poised and well-mannered socialite. Yet inside her head lies a completely different person — she is actually Elara, Elowen's twin sister. When her elder sister was severely injured in a car crash, Elara was brought back from a welfare institute by their family to take her sister's place in this marriage. To her, this union is nothing but a business deal. All she wants is to hold out until the contract expires, collect the money and run away. Amused and baffled by her wild, unfiltered inner monologues, Adrian catches glimpses of her true self through these unguarded thoughts: a spirited, loyal girl haunted by deep-seated inferiority. Little by little, he falls for her. Though he has long seen through the fake-marriage scheme, he chooses to protect her in secret. He discreetly fends off dangers for her, buys the fireworks studio she has always longed for, and devotes abundant resources to help her chase her dream. While Elowen keeps acting as the perfect heiress, she struggles and grows emotionally entangled within the web of lies. Before she knows it, genuine love blooms in her heart. Still, she lives in constant fear that everything will crumble once her true identity comes to light. As Adrian's childhood-friend rival stirs up trouble, misunderstandings arise from the elder sister's ex-boyfriend, and the twin-sister truth draws near, this marriage built on secrets faces a severe test. When the lie finally comes out, their cross-class romance must stand against family schemes and past traumas. From a contractual forced-replacement marriage to mutual devotion, this is a spicy, funny sweet-romance billionaire drama featuring a domineering CEO and a bold girl from humble origins.
