The official offers a reward for her capture, ordering the soldiers to kill her. Instead, the legion openly defies the order, declaring loyalty to Valerie. She confronts the Archbishop, demanding to know who slaughtered her family. As he calls for guards and cries treason, Valerie threatens him directly, vowing to send him to his god if he doesn't answer.
