Luna faces harsh criticism from her father after losing a Divine-grade Contract Spirit to their rivals, the Lanes. Despite her father's anger and demands to dissolve the contract and apologize, Luna insists she only signed with a spirit abandoned by Sophie and refuses to back down. Her father argues that the family is falling behind and cannot afford the slow-growing spirit, urging her to admit failure. The episode ends with Luna defiantly rejecting her father's orders, setting up a clash between her determination and her family's fading power.
