Aiden Shaw unexpectedly breaks through and kills Crimson Sect's heir; exhausted, he is rescued by Yuna Smith, Celestial Sect's top disciple. Yuna warns Crimson Sect will seek revenge and invites Aiden to join Celestial Sect; he accepts. At the sect an Immortal Alliance envoy moves to disqualify them from the Sects Tournament for lacking Core Stage disciples. Rival leaders plot to seize the sect's spirit vein and claim Yuna—training outside—has been killed. As threats close in, a voice interrupts, asking, 'Who said Celestial Sect's fate is over?' The question leaves Yuna's return and the sect's future unresolved.
