Ms. Jensen offers Sophie the small Blueberry stage, but Sophie refuses, wanting something bigger. Ms. Jensen then tells Mr. Quinn a visiting pop diva will judge tomorrow; if the diva likes him he could win a Rising Star spot. A new song meant to secure Sophie still feels incomplete because Frankie, the one with musical instincts, has been absent for days. At home Lauren's mother reports that her father hasn't come back. With a solo concert scheduled before Rising Star and no finished song, Sophie must find a way to replace Frankie's spark.
