Synopsis

Hera has lived under her stepfather David’s cruelty for years. When she is admitted to the art department of Ston College, she meets classmates Brad and Yoanna and, by chance, finds friendship for the first time. Their warmth opens Hera’s eyes to the possibility of freedom and plants the seed of rebellion against David and the suffocating “ball cage” that has kept her small. As Hera gathers courage to break away, choices harden into consequences. The struggle to claim a new life ignites fierce emotional clashes and forces Hera to pay a painful, irrevocable price for the freedom she finally seeks.

Watching Hera paint freedom made me gasp; tiny liberties tasted like revolution. The finale's pain stayed with me all night.

Poetic visuals of paint and escape elevate Hera's fragile rebellion. The ball cage image lingered long after credits.
