Confronted by Dante, the mafia boss who raised her, Aria declares she doesn't love him and demands a normal life. He responds with possessive fury, vowing she will belong only to him. Distraught after her friend Leo's family is forced to flee New York, Aria agrees to a friend's escape plan to slip away at an underground masquerade rave using a fake passport. However, Dante learns of her plot and orders the city locked down and the club destroyed to ensure she is captured and returned to him.
