At the reading of Thomas Snow's will, it is revealed that 40% of Snow Group shares are split evenly between his son Hugo and granddaughter Wendy. Wendy immediately questions the will's legitimacy, accusing it of being fake since she suspects her late grandfather wouldn't leave a large portion to an illegitimate child. A longtime family associate is called to verify the signature but remains non-committal. Wendy claims the true will is hidden, and Hugo’s version is forged. Pressured to show the original, Wendy admits she doesn't have it yet, escalating tensions and leaving the ownership dispute unresolved.
