At a gathering, guests whisper that a woman is trying to win Mr. Reed’s favor. When someone says Reed is only interested and "will never marry her," a defender replies she "called the shot in my family" and insists Reed won't let anyone bully his wife. Tempers flare when a man announces, "Anyone who leaves with me today will get a million dollars," calls the crowd gold-diggers and scatters them. Shocked attendees see Reed side with her; if she wins his favor and gets him on her side, how are we supposed to get the shares her mother left her?
