Stranded at sea and fearing sea monsters, a man realizes he now possesses the abilities of a Legendary Mechanic. He successfully upgrades rotten driftwood into a sturdier wooden boat using his new skills. However, he runs out of Crystal Cores, the essential material for further upgrades. To solve this, he combines his basic fishing rod and dagger into an auto harpoon, intending to hunt sea monsters for cores. He immediately tests it, only to find the first shark yields a pitiful single core, leaving him desperate.
