Nancy Sanson is an office worker whose motto is simple: money solves everything. Exhausted from overwork, she suddenly transmigrates into the pages of a novel — and into the body of an evil supporting character who shares her name. In the book, that woman greedily covets the heroine's luck and lusts after the male lead, behavior that culminates in a gruesome end. Now Nancy faces a lethal countdown. Armed with knowledge of the plot, she must balance her money-minded instincts with a desperate will to survive. Can she manipulate rules and relationships to escape the character's doomed arc—and possibly find a way home—or will the story devour her regardless?
