Hanks comes home early after a brawl and faces Sherry, who accuses him of losing his temper and complains she’s been living with him for months while he refuses intimacy. He promises a project finishes in three days and agrees to marry her. At court Hanks is acquitted when the plaintiff withdraws, but a man crashes the scene claiming to be Sherry’s boyfriend. He says Sherry had him press charges to put Hanks in jail and produces proof. Hanks denies it; with the evidence exposed and Harley warned, Sherry’s upcoming marriage and reputation hang in the balance.
