At Ivy Academy, Yale wins a contested battle by unfairly involving others, sparking outrage from a rival who demands a one-on-one fight. Yale challenges opponents to either fight him directly or submit. He then declares himself ruler of the freshmen class, provoking objections from Fiona, whose avatar is the Thousand-Eyed Crow. The Student Council intervenes, citing rules to detain Yale and investigate the suspicious rapid rise of his followers' power, suspecting his source might be supernatural. Yale threatens anyone who disrespects his master but offers a choice: join them or become enemies. He then proposes a third option—follow him to gain even greater power as the Heavenly Crow.
