Three men visit Riley, who nearly drowned the previous day. They apologize and bring gifts, but their true motive is soon revealed. Chloe, a woman Riley resents, has been scarred. The men demand a bowl of Riley's healing blood to fix Chloe's face, offering marriage in exchange. Riley refuses, calling Chloe 'the bitch who ruined my life.' Chloe then threatens suicide, and the men turn violent, forcing Riley to comply and taking her blood against her will as she curses them.
