Reprieved Heart - Episode 8

The Commander confronts Mira, the dragon tamer under his command, accusing her of not comparing to the Queen and threatening to kill her once the dragon hatches. Mira reveals she has secretly loved him for years since he saved her as a child, but the Commander dismisses her feelings. He then exposes her attempt to escape on a secretly built boat, challenging the sincerity of her love. Despite Mira's insistence that loving someone doesn't require staying, the Commander orders her confined. Before the order is carried out, guards urgently report that the dragon egg in Mira's care has suddenly stopped moving.
