Rise of the Resilient - Episode 1

Felice Soame, Matthias Chute's lover, suddenly goes into labor, but complications arise when she begins bleeding heavily due to a corpus luteum rupture after intercourse during pregnancy. Dr. Simpson, a respected gynecologist visiting the hospital for an academic exchange being livestreamed, is urgently called to perform the risky emergency surgery. As the staff scramble to prepare, Matthias promises Felice that once the baby is born, he will leave Raena and marry her. The episode ends with Felice's condition critical and the tense surgery about to begin, leaving her fate uncertain.
