The police arrive, examine the 'evidence', and side with Jennifer's version, dismissing Megan's claims. Megan reflects on the 'real' tear she witnessed, certain Mark is being sold as a robot. She insists on returning to the store to prove it, but Jennifer warns her they are now blacklisted and cannot gain entry.
