She Flew Beyond the Courtyard Walls

She Flew Beyond the Courtyard Walls

Synopsis

Lucy Hope was raised under the Flint family's roof and unexpectedly becomes Simon Flint's wife. At first hopeful, she watches Simon growing close to Joan Lane. Suspicion and hurt replace trust. Lucy withdraws and decides to abandon their marriage, vowing to devote herself to Westby instead. News of Joan's betrayal finally reaches Simon; guilt and panic hit him. Realizing Lucy is preparing to leave, he races to the station, desperate to stop her. Two lives stand at a crossroads: a marriage strained by betrayal, and a final, urgent attempt to reclaim what may already be lost. The climax hinges on a single, fleeting encounter at the platform.
