Weeping Bones

On Christmas Eve Bella's dismembered body lies cold, but her soul slips back into the house she once called home. She watches her biological parents, Paul and Evelyn, lavish attention on her adopted sister Anna while treating Bella with chill indifference, unaware their real daughter is already dead. When Bella's remains are finally found, Evelyn, a forensic examiner, and Paul, the police chief, take charge of the case. They comb evidence and reconstruct the crime scene, yet never see what is before them: the victim is their own child. The cruel irony twists the investigation into a private torment. Bella's silent presence forces the viewer to witness love, denial, and the fracture of a family during a night of grief.
