Prince Jamal of Gulen has invaded the kingdom of Shahari and defeated their champion, Kallen. He mockingly forces the defeated warrior to declare all Shahari people are 'scum' to spare his life. With Shahari's strength proven inferior, Jamal arrogantly tells the princess she will only ever be his concubine. As her people urge her to submit, the princess declares the royal dignity cannot be trampled and steps forward to challenge Jamal herself.
