The Conch's Cry for Help - Episode 2

Queen Nephele discovers her eight-year-old daughter, Princess Helle, is alone on a leaking boat in stormy seas. Panic erupts as she realizes Helle will drown or freeze, and she frantically tries to call her husband, King Athamas, who is not answering. At the palace, a courtier tries to calm the queen by praising Athamas's past heroism, but she demands answers from his deputy. Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal Athamas in an intimate conversation with another woman, Ino, who expresses envy for his family, while he complains about Nephele being controlling. The episode ends with Helle, freezing and adrift, calling weakly for her mother.
