After the elder king's return, Queen Teresa faces a public tribunal in the Great Hall. Her son, Prince Servius, and the noblewoman Leah accuse her of neglect, claiming Leah raised the prince and saved his life while Teresa remained indifferent. The gathered nobles, led by Audenberg, demand the king strip Teresa of her title. Refusing to rely on rumors, the king insists on seeing Teresa himself. As the accusers mock her absence, Teresa defiantly appears, ready to confront them and reclaim what is hers.
