Frank, a taxi driver, wakes two drugged, overheated women in his cab and, short on energy, initially can save only one before managing to revive both. Afterward he demands the fare; Wen says her sister was drugged and accuses him of taking advantage. Wen pressures Frank to become their driver; he refuses, orders secrecy, and warns, "I'll die right in front of you" if they bother him again. They beg for money and contact, and Deborah steps forward pleading for his help — Frank must decide whether to stay or walk away.
